NSRI INFORMATION UNIT- Kalk Bay Harbour
The brief was to design an information station, in addition to the 28 coastal and 2 inshore rescue stations countrywide. This accomodation should house the following:
This facility will be located at the Kalk Bay Harbour precinct, which is a popular meeting place of locals and tourists alike. The plot of this unit is to be on the water's edge.
This intervention must enhance and reflect the distinct Kalk Bay character, while, at the same time, making a positive architectural contribution to the urban fabric.

- work space for 2 staff members: one admin and 1 research
- recepction/ exhibition/ information/ gathering space to accomodate 20 people
